What are the results of the June primary in Oklahoma?

With no Democratic or Libertarian candidates, the LeFlore County and Sequoyah County races will be official after the June election unless they go to a runoff.

OKLAHOMA, USA — Oklahoma voters went to the polls on June 18 to decide on one statewide Republican nomination and other local races. 

With no Democratic or Libertarian candidates, the LeFlore County and Sequoyah County races will be official after this election unless they go to a runoff. 

The corporation commissioner race, which is the only statewide position on the ballot, will only appoint the Republican party nominee. Whoever wins will face Democratic opponent Harold Spradling and Libertarian opponent Chad Williams in the November election.

Runoffs will be on Aug. 27. The general election will be Nov. 5.

Corporation Commissioner

  • Brian Bingman: 53.42%
  • Russell Ray: 17.91%
  • Justin Hornback: 28.66%

All 1,984 precincts in the state have reported. 

LeFlore County races

State Representative - District 15

Oklahoma's House District 15 encompasses parts of LeFlore, Haskell, and McIntosh counties. See the House map here

  • Gail Jackson: 4.13%
  • Tim Turner: 52.64%
  • Spring Morrow: 13.42%
  • Paul Palmer: 25.76%
  • Casey Johnson: 4.05%

All precincts have reported as of 8:35 p.m. 

County Sheriff

  • Donnie Ray Edwards: 13.87%
  • Sheriff Rodney Derryberry: 57.92%
  • Spiro Police Chief Larry Crossland: 28.21%

All precincts have reported as of 8:30 p.m.

District 2 County Commissioner

  • Josh Blaylock: 39.99%
  • Bruce Curnutt: 22.45%
  • Jesse Ingle: 37.56%

  • Incumbent Rep. Jim Olsen: 58.24%
  • E.O. "Junior" Smith: 41.76%

  • Incumbent Gina Cox: 39.88%
  • Melanie Edgmon: 60.12%

  • Incumbent Julie Haywood: 64.80%
  • Rosa Scott Looper: 35.20%
