Razorbacks fall to Pitt in second round of NCAA Tournament

For the first time in three seasons Arkansas fails to make the Sweet 16 after 4-3 loss to Panthers

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Arkansas soccer team saw its season come to an end on Friday night with a 4-3 loss to Pittsburgh in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. This marks the first time in three seasons the Hogs failed to make the Sweet 16.

These two went back and forth all night. Freshman Bella Field tied the match at one with her fourth goal in the two NCAA Tournament games.

Ainsley Erzen and Bea Franklin would each take a turn giving Arkansas the lead but the Panthers would come back to even the score both times.

The Panthers would score the game winning goal off a corner kick with just over a minute to play.
