Conway rolled through the regular season a perfect 10-0 and most thought it might be the year the Wampus Cats take the next step in the postseason and handle business against a school from Northwest Arkansas.
The Wampus Cats rolled early as their ground game found the end zone time after time but Fayetteville would not go quietly.
Daryl Patton's team hung around and with the help of a double pass touchdown to C.J. O'Grady the Bulldogs found a way to end the Cats' perfect season and push Fayetteville into the 7A semifinals with a 42-35 win.
